Conception
SIC BOXES is a Swiss-based guitar effects pedal company based in Lausanne, Switzerland. It was founded in 2022 with the goal of developing and manufacturing effects that I couldn’t find equivalents for on the market.
Often frustrated by the limitations of the format of guitar effects pedals, I decided to develop circuits that could interact with them in order to expand their range of capabilities. My goal was to create tools that would give new life to my old pedals, allowing me to use my entire effects chain in a more expressive and nuanced way.
Thus were born the first two original designs of SIC BOXES: the SIC BLEND BOX and the SIC DOWN BOX.
Variations and Customization
All of our effects have been designed to be customizable, with various options available for each circuit, to adapt to the needs of each musician. In our shop , you will find SIC BOXES made with different sets of options, and you can choose the one that best suits you.
And if you want to take it even further, you can even have a custom SIC BOX made (at no extra cost) through the CUSTOM BOX. page.

Manufacturing and Reclaimed Materials
In an effort to minimize our environmental impact as much as possible (rather than offsetting it by planting trees), all SIC BOXES are handmade using as many reclaimed materials as possible.
The enclosures are made from old cut, folded, drilled and hand-decorated traffic signs creating unique pedals designs. Non-critical parts are salvaged from broken electronic devices or made from plastic waste (for example: knobs salvaged from old mixing tables, plastic parts made from household waste, rubber feet cut from old soles, etc.). Only electronic components and other essential parts (connectors, gears, hardware, etc.) are new for reliability reasons.
As a result, each SIC BOX is a one-of-a-kind piece with an original design featuring retro and punk nuances.
Packaging
All packaging material is reclaimed from the supplies SIC BOXES receives and the boxes are handmade from reclaimed cardboard.
We strive to minimize our environmental impact by avoiding the production of unnecessary material, so don’t expect to receive unnecessary promotional stickers or other goodies with your SIC BOX.
SIC BOXES Warranty
All SIC BOXES effects are covered by a lifetime warranty provided to the original buyer, as long as they have been registered on the Register my BOX page within 30 days of purchase.
Repairs & Mods
In addition to manufacturing effects, SIC BOXES also offers a repairs and modification service for guitar effects pedals of all brands.
